A Hifz revision system that actually works
Memorising is the easy half. Here is the simple three-part structure that keeps what you learn.
Most students who abandon Hifz do not fail at memorising. They fail at retaining. Without a revision system, new memorisation quietly pushes out the old.
The three-part daily cycle
- Sabaq — the new lesson, a small and manageable portion
- Sabqi — a review of the last several days of new lessons
- Manzil — a rotating revision of everything older
Keep new lessons small
A short portion learned perfectly is worth more than a long one learned loosely. Let the revision, not the new material, set your pace.
Be accountable
A daily live check with a tutor catches slips within a day rather than a month. That accountability is the biggest advantage of one-to-one Hifz.
